It wasn’t until I found a chart with symbols did I fully understand the big picture regarding the stitch pattern and how the scarf was supposed to look after completing 2 or 3 pineapples. For example, the first time I tried to follow a pattern for a scarf with a pineapple stitch pattern, I was totally frustrated.
